Hello Spring!
Zara and H&M have some really nice pieces in their Spring Collections, especially Zara. Walking into Zara store makes me wanna buy everything, they are just breathlessly beautiful. Zara has a lot of embroidered floral pieces, from tops, bottoms to dresses, jackets and blazers, so so so pretty. This Spring is all about off-shoulder and frills I think. Almost all blouses and dresses are will frills (flowy sleeves) and they definitely look super Spring-y. Off-shoulder game is really strong! I remember last Summer people were all about off-shoulder and they even brought it back this Spring, WOW! It is such a shame that I cannot pull off off-shoulder, I tried them on a few times but still I could not make them work on myself.
Zara Frilly Sleeve Top RM199
We all know the price point of Zara, they are high up there that I could go bankrupt buying more than 3 of their clothes. But they are so so so pretty OMG! This struggle is REAL!
Oh they do have some cute high waist pants that I think can be pair up easily both with blouse and casual T. There are a lot of below-knee skirts which are super nice and my favourite is a denim floral embroidered skirt. H&M has a quite similar floral denim skirt in their Coachella collection but Zara's one looks much better and definitely of better quality.
I saw a very very cute pastel pink bucket bag when I was browsing Zara website. It's not too expensive as for a bag and I was seriously considering to get it. But when I looked at it in the store, it was nothing that I expected it to be, the size and the quality.
I am a massive pink sucker! I love pink even though I don't really put them on always, but deep down my heart, I swear by pink. I don't know is it because of my age, the pink tone that I am into kinda changed. I used to love bright pink or neon pink, but now I love more subtle, pastel and muted pink.
Hey it's Spring! How can you leave out pink in Spring, it is a necessity!
H&M Viscose Shirt RM79.90
I love shirt to begin with. I think shirt can be worn both formal and informal. What makes me bought this shirt is its colour. This is is a pastel pink but a muted kind of pink. It goes super well with olive green colour bottom. Love it.
Strappy Crêpe Top RM59.90
Slip-On Canvas Trainers RM49.90
I had 2 pairs of similar trainers from H&M last Summer and I am still wearing now. They are so comfy and super affordable. So when I saw this pastel pink colour I could not resist at all. I mean how pretty is this colour OMG.
Oh this is a bargain that I got from H&M too. It was RM89.90 before and it was reduced to RM30. I mean, it's a sweater, with very nice and comfy furry lining on the inside, how else can I say? How can I pick it up?
I love mustard colour. I think it is a very classy and unique colour that still not many people wear it to date. It is a flare pants and the material is so so good (it's from Uniqlo so I don't have problem with it's quality at all). It is cotton but not that type of soft cotton. It has some thickness to the material which is what I like. It is flowy but not too much of a flow, it does not need to be ironed, it doesn't wrinkle up easily.
Can we just take a moment to celebrate my first ever MAC lipstick~
Ahhhhh... I don't know what takes me so long to get a MAC lipstick when it is not a very expensive product.
I was super self-conscious to walk into MAC store but I finally had the courage to do so 2 weeks ago. Thank God the staff that served me was very nice and patience enough to let me try on every shade that I have came across on Instagram or Youtube.
I must say buying MAC lipstick is an addiction! Now that I have had one, it brings up my urge to collect more MAC lipsticks.
MAC lipstick in Whirl RM78
I went to Watson to repurchase some skincare items. I must say it is such a pain in the ass when all your skincare products finish at the same time and you need to get everything at one shot, ouch!
This mask was on offer in the store so I just had to pick it up.
My Scheming Mask RM19.80
I wouldn't say I have tried a lot of handcream brands but I have tried some popular ones like The Body Shop, L'occitane and Crabtree&Evelyn. After all, L'occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream still stands out to me. I don't know is it because I am so used to putting in thick and buttery hand cream, I don't find other hand creams sufficient for my hands anymore. In fact, I am on the hunt looking for even thicker hand creams in the market.
I have had it for quite some time but I just started using it. I bought this because of the scent, it is a shame that it is nothing compared to the Shea Butter's one. Unless I put on a super thick layer before I go to bed, if not my hands still feel dry the next morning.
Definitely will go back to the Shea Butter hand cream after I am down with this.
I think I mentioned in my previous post that I am not going to purchase the Innisfree shower gel anymore, but I bought it again. This scent is just beautiful, unlike other scents that we could normally get.
I usually squeeze out a lot of the shower gel because I feel the obligation to use shower gel generously in order to get the scent to stay on skin. But for this jasmine shower gel I don't need to use a lot, still I will have that fresh kind of scent on my body.
Innisfree Jasmine Body Cleanser RM38
Last but not least, my pastel pink highlighter. OMG! This highlighter is so so so pretty, I just cannot. It is unlike those neon pink highlighter, it is a subtle pink that still does the highlighting job very well. I wanted to get more just to store up but they don't have it in the bookstore that I used to go.
Stabile Boss Pastel Highlighter RM4
OMG it is till early April but I am already too afraid to check my account balance.
What to do? Too much shopping huh?
Till next time...
Love,
Xiaohui
